Miles Massidda serves as Manager of Research & Development at Vigilant Biosciences®, where he leads the expansion of the company’s diagnostic platform, spearheading the development of four novel lateral flow immunoassays for the detection of oral cancer, HPV, candidiasis, and aspergillosis. His work supports Vigilant’s mission of bringing earlier, more accessible disease detection to patients and healthcare providers. Miles grew up in Massachusetts before moving to Austin to pursue his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, which he completed in 2023.
